Smit Upadhyay is the Founder & CEO of MAECTRO. Long before entrepreneurship became a widely celebrated career path, his interest in business was taking shape through the everyday realities of a small family-run sweets and namkeen shop, Mukhyaji, in a tier-3 city. Working alongside his family taught him that business is built through effort, customers, numbers, responsibility and hard work — through the realities of building something from the ground up, not simply through ideas.
Over time, that early interest developed into a much larger ambition: to build businesses with lasting value and, eventually, become an industrialist with a portfolio of enduring enterprises. His M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in Data Science, from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, and professional experience as a Data Scientist at HDFC ERGO added technical and professional depth. He ultimately chose to build that ambition through MAECTRO.
