Prime Minister inaugurates Micron's semiconductor assembly, test and packaging facility in Sanand.

The facility in Sanand, Gujarat was inaugurated, with commercial production and shipment of first made-in-India semiconductor memory modules to commence. The plant features one of the world's largest raised-floor cleanrooms.
